I have forgotten to put my watch on once that I can remember, over 50± years of daily wear. I felt so distraught without it that I left work to go home and get it. I sometimes forget my mobile phone which elicits nothing more than a shrug on my part. I once forgot my 28 gauge ammo for a long distance grouse hunt (and none to be found in the local stores)- which elicited another shrug (and retirement to a local bar). But I had my watch on.

"We were barely seventeen and barely dressed", but I had my watch on!
