After looking at the information about your scopes I notice over 34 feet field of view. It sure appears you could make a 5-25X50 that weighs the same as your 3-15X50 and still have a good field of view.

Yea, there is some great development being done on bring out the higher magnification. At that FOV with a 1" tube and our eyebox, we know we can really pump it up on taking it to a 30mm tube and therefore working up that eyebox to increase the FOV.
I love magnification for target shooting, but tend to not use as much in hunting. So its good to have a nice variable range....and a few different models to choose from al1 around.
