Sierra 117 gr. Pro-Hunter is the only bullet I use in the 25-06. But it wasn't my decision; the barrel of my 25-06 made the call for me. I also know for a fact that they work great on antelope at a little over 300 yds. Actually, my rifle prefers bullets in the 115-120 gr. range because the lighter stuff all got eliminated through a lot of load development. Even though I've seen 25-06 tackdrivers with various 100 gr. bullets but it seems that was never to be in mine. But I'm so happy with the 117 gr. Sierras and RL-22 that it's become my one standard 25-06 "go-to" load.
