I've used both the 100gr TSX and TTSX in my .25-06 and my .250-3000 on deer and antelope. Both bullets put down any whitetail deer fairly quickly, all the way up to the big 300+lb northern Missouri bruisers. But on antelope, the TTSX drops them a little quicker than the TSX, IMO.

The Berger 115gr VLD Hunting has been like a death ray on the turbo goats, and they buck wind at long ranges better than any .25 cal bullet I've tried. Haven't tried them on deer yet.

I've taken one goat with the 110 AB, and it was slightly quartering away at about 320 yards. Bullet entered through the ribcage just behind left shoulder, centerpunching a rib. The off-side right shoulder was absolutely pulverized. The 'lope instantly tipped forward, piling up face first in the dirt. They might be a little soft for heavy whitetails or muleys at close range if they hit heavy bone on the way in.

I used to use quite a few of the Hornady 117gr BTSP Interlocks, but quit because I wanted something that didn't get battered bullet tips in the rifle's magazine. But they performed well on all the deer I shot with them. Same thing for the Sierra 100 and 117gr GameKings and ProHunters I've used. I probably should use these more in my Ruger #1 in .25-06. The Sierras, especially, shoot bug-hole groups in that rifle.

I was given a bunch of 120gr Speer Grand Slams quite a few years ago, and loaded them for my little Ruger Ultralight .250-3000. Never shot any of them past around 250 yards and most were inside 100yds, but I could get around 2700fps using H4831SC. They dropped deer as well as any .270 or .308. Almost always got complete penetration and terrific blood trails, but didn't need that because I never had a deer go any further than 30 yards.

Bring enough gun and know how to use it.
