Of course this question begs the question .
.for what purpose? At one time I used my 25/06 for game including bull moose and elk and it was very effective with the 120 grain partitions. Equivalent to the
270 win with 130 but as I've aged I talked the .270 because of the shorter ,22"barrel.The 25/06 /model 700 is slightly more accurate than either of the 270's I own.Gotta say,I am tempted to cut and crown the .25 down too.I would use it more .Cheers
