The wheels are laughing and hobknobbing before the battle, but since blood wont be shed they have no concern for their sensitivities, appearing not to realize they will be seeing the battles of Lexington, the Coral Sea, and D-Day, where the fate of their nation hangs in the balance of a rigged system.
