Trump did what he needed to do. He didn't personally attack her as a woman. He pointed out her failures without calling her crooked hillary. He was a gentleman as best he can be. She has so much bad he could have talked about. It was killing him to listen to her lies and stupid talking points. He kept in control of himself. That was the goal tonight. He'll dial it up some on the next one. People don't want to vote for her or she would have won last time. If he looks reasonable he'll win.
