I liked the feel of the shield I had, but it was damned tough to manipulate the controls on mine. and forget loading that last round into the magazine. and that safety was next to useless
What safety? After 4-500 rounds my magazines load easy enough. Ergo's are perfect for my medium size mitt. I've owned the Kahr for several years, shot the Glock and Ruger quite a bit and for me the Shield is nigh on perfection. The Shield knocked the M&P 9Compact out of the rotation immediately. And I don't miss the 9C one bit.
