I posted this elsewhere a few weeks ago.

I shot my new Krieger 1-9 with a starting load of 56 grains and had very stiff bolt lift. Used 150 ABLR seated 70 off lands in a chamber with a long throat...about 3.48” oal. So there was plenty of net capacity. Speer list 56.8 as max in their newest data. Temp was 98 degrees. I was surprised. Waiting for some 80 degree weather. That last 100fps is not worth any loss of reliability. Am good with 2900 and good accuracy.

Will try 60 of 7977 next. If I can get 2900-2925 with good accuracy I am good to go.

Have used 160 NP’s as well as old 150 Hornady RN bullets. Am convinced that blunt bullets are “more impactful” on game. Wish Nosler made some 150 solid base bonded bullets for .277. Just great for everything inside 250 yards, which means most everything.
