Next up is my pride and joy. It is a Winchester 101 XTR light weight that belonged to my best friend. When he got killed his wife gave me this gun and I had this custom stock made for it a tribute to him.
It is a 20 ga with right at 28" barrels and 32 lpi checkering. I ask for 20 lpi as this is my field gun but the stock maker said it was too nice a piece of wood not to do 32 lines on, so that is what I got.





note the way he did the patterns and had them tie together with just diamond. He told me what he was going to do, but I did not understand until I say it myself.
