I own 2 of them a 338-06 and 280 Rem, both are very accurate and I can get under 1" with good handloads and time to let the barrel cool a little. Friends liked the 338-06 so much, one bought a ULW in 270 the other one in 300 Win mag. Both shoot very well also. These guns actually converted me from a lever action guy to a bolt guy. They are very well balanced, carry well and with a 2x7 Leupold weigh just about 7 lbs. I swear by them.
As for the 270 or 280, i'll stay out of that fray but you see which one I own.
