I've had Weatherby ULW rifles in 30-06 and 25-06. Each would shoot well under 1" groups after having the triggers adjusted, barrels floated and actions bedded. I think they are terrific rifles and didn't find them difficult to shoot in the field. And, I've owned a lot of the "better" light weights, including NULA, Kimber, Remington Ti.
