I`ve been reading all about the RL 17 for several months and finally got a hold of some. I recently duplicated a load I found on "reloadersnest" where the velocity with a 155 gr VLD using 69 gr of RL 17 was 3380 fps from the poster`s 24" barreled 300 WSM.

69 gr with the 155 VLD got me a chronyd 3234 fps from my 16.5" tubed 300 WSM compact. My previous high was 3118 fps using a 150 gr SST.

I believe it now too!
