The 12 twist really surprises me with a 208 VLD. I am still scratching my head over the accuracy at long range (and close range) with that twist. Don't you know the .308 is only good to 800 yards? Jeez, stop kicking against the pricks ;o) Should be a humdinger in the .30-06. It will be hard to beat the velocity you are getting though. That is amazing. My custom .30-06's with 27" barrels will get me 2,700 fps. That isn't much more than you are getting with the .308. Come on, test the .30-06...do it, do it, do it...LOL I am messing around with the 7mm-08 right now. Another AMAZING round. 162 grain AMAXES are the bullet to shoot in it ;o) Flinch
