Had a .38 wadcutter bounce back from a tree I shot at. Quit shooting trees.Left a bruise on my shin but didn't break the sking.
Had several close calls. While duck hunting my uncle, who was drunk, stepped out of the blind with his gun. I was standing behind the blind. His gun went off, hitting a five gallon water can we kept there. Missed me by less than a foot. We unloaded his gun and he enjoyed the rest of the morning, giggling and drinking. When he passed I inherited the Mod 12 Duck Gun he shot that day.
