~500 yards on a previousely wounded Mule Deer(not by me) while it was walking. Heart shot. (Lucky.) ~350 yard neck shot on previousley wounded Mule Deer that was trotting. (Me) (Very Lucky.)
The first was with a 30-06/165g combo and the second with a 300 H&H/180g combo.
I hear ya on that! I know this thread is about longest shots, but I feel like some of my best/luckiest shots were on animals that were on the move, even though the range was 1/3 or less that of some of my longer shots...
