There have been many deer fall to the 140g Ballistic tip out of my 7 mag with 65.5g of IMR 4350, Rem brass, 9 1/2 primer, bullet seated to touch the lands.
Some would find it hard to believe, but I dropped two mature Bull elk, both at a dead run with the above load...they did not run off. At the bullet impact, their front legs quit working, their nose plowed the ground, and they never even tried to get up...150 & 200 yard shots.
