Pathfinder, I've been walkabout for a spell and just read your post...don't ever feel embarrassed for hangin' those plates on your car...EVER. I did the same in Georgia while living there. It's only a matter of circumstance causes some to bleed for their country. Serving is a choice, one that separates wheat from chaff...and nobody ever woke up one morning and said "I think I'll be a hero today".

Prewar, my time in the A Shau was after your dad's, sorry I never met him. I just returned from a journey around the southeastern quadrant of the US, and met a fellow by accident near Branson, Mo. that had spent some time there with 5th Group he said. Name was Tubbs...looks like St. Nick today and life is good for him from all appearances. We traded 10 digit coordinates of some of our more memorable moments.

FWIW, I may have stepped into the wonderland of having a personal LONG range place to shoot. Will post some photos later, just got home and and am whipped. Snowed on 3 times and froze the rest of the time. Loved every minute of it!

Crossfire, you get any of that rain out your way?

I am..........disturbed.

Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass. -Twain
