Slaughterville is a small comunity where I grew up and still own the family farm there. Its about 15 miles south of Norman Oklahoma. There are many tall tales of how it got its name, but the boring truth is, in the mid 1800's Jim Slaughter open the first general store in the area. And my wife thought it made a really cool brand for knives. Here is a couple more to check out.
