The Sako rail is the best base ever invented IMHO. It's taper only causes the mount to get tighter under recoil and it allows a little front back adjustment for eye relief position. I prefer the Optilock one piece ringmounts but also use Leupold ringmounts. I don't use the base and ring mounts because I hate the idea of adding a base to a base.
