Given that most politicians rarely read the letters sent to them, some nameless secretary will write a response. If I'm lucky, it will be put in a pile for Kellie to sign.

Will she read it? Only if her staff thinks it's something she needs to see. For that reason, I doubt she'll ever know it was sent.
