I believe I've thanked both you and Steve for your service previously, but it can't hurt to do so again - a sincere thanks to both of you.
This has been a topic I've been following closely and certainly can't see why the PM's office is allowing this mess to continue.
I must confess that I wasn't a fan of Julian Fantino when he was a Police Chief and that hasn't improved any since he went from LE politics to Federal politics.
While I do understand the need for budget balancing and cutbacks sometimes, there are many, MANY suggestions of ministries that could be sliced and diced before Veterans Affairs in my view.
We'll see where this takes us I suppose, as you say though, we're sorta stuck as to who to vote for in more ways than one.
