I'm totally reiterating what's been said here,but here goes. Old school-buy a Garcia Mitchell 308, a couple extra bail springs and never look back. You won't regret it, and you won't break it.
New school Schimano makes a darned good reel, and they just never die. I've retired my Mitchells and run all Schimano stuff now.
