I have a 2011 Tundra and it gets a solid mile per gallon above those estimates, and even better when I baby it. Best part, mileage doesn't drop off much in the winter like it did on my old chevy. I have gotten 20 mpg on trips, driving 65.
You'd have a hard time making me buy anything other than another Toyota.
