Ammo availability would be nice but I usually reload or buy it from a fairly well stocked gun shop that I am sure has it because I have seen it before.

There were 30+ different models sold, the 99EG is the most common but there are plenty of other variations. The 99 is a classic, if you've never held one or hunted with one they are a very well designed rifle that carries and aims very well.
