The winchester 88 conversion is just one of those ideas for when I have more room for spare guns. I am looking for a gun that I can use in all the environments I hunt in which a few doesn't allow semi-autos.
I shot a Deerfield carbine a couple times, I was a M-1 Carbine nut in my youth (still am I guess) and that really spoke to me.
