I still think there is a possibility that this iteration of Israel is not the return that is spoken of in the Bible. If you read, it pretty clearly says that ALL the Jews will return to Israel.
Israel is the people of God, Christ's sheepfold. They need to return to the sheepfold. That piece of land over there isn't it.
