The ONLY practical reason to buy uber-expensive European scope is for night hunting from stand practiced on the continent. That is where x56 objective, illuminated dot or little cross, best lenses and coatings pay dividends. There is no reason for American hunter in America to buy one except perhaps for bragging rights.
If it was me I would buy Weaver 6x38 for about $160.
