After spending 3+ hours on the phone with Zebra Light's National Sales Manager and Tech guy, he informed me that the Panasonic 18650 Li-Ion cells will last 1+ years without draining completely. The optimum voltage when storing them is 3.7 volts, he said. Also, the "parasitic drain" (inside the light) is less than it would be just sitting on the shelf.

My point in posting this is that if I am going to be out in the bush for 1-2 weeks, a spare 18650 battery is all that I should need when using my new Zebra headlamp.

After having Surefire, Petzl, Princeton Tec... and others, Zebra Light gets my vote for being on the cutting edge...
