By 4:30 in the afternoon Eileen had seen several, but wasn't sure any was big enough until a doe came by with a buck right behind her. When the doe stopped, appearing to say "Take me, big boy!," Eileen shot.
It turned out to field-dress a little less than the average Montana doe, like about half as much. Any credit there?
