I was going to buy one back in 75 but wound up getting a Laverda 1000 instead. Always wanted a Norton, one day saw this one sitting in a driveway while out for a ride. Knocked on the door asked if he wanted to sell it said he wasn't interested but his wife chimed in, it was in my garage that night! You get used to the ass backwards controls as long as you don't jump on one right after the other. Just finished overhauling pretty much everything on the bike last year, runs strong, sounds better!!
