Hopefully, they will at least be ordered to make full restitution via the courts.
Oh, I'm sure they will be ordered to do so, but highly doubt it'll actually get paid. After a while of not paying it, they'll get violation of probation, and get put back in jail. Then, they'll either get probation reinstated (with additional fees to the court), or they'll wind up doing a few months in the pokey. Either way, the poor saps that got scammed will never see a dime.
