And why call it an "every Three hour" baby food diet?

Grams Per 100 Calories: Protein / Fat / Carbs

Human milk - 1.5 / 5.5 / 11.0

McDonald's
Burger&Fries - 3.1 / 4.0 / 11.7
Cheese Pizza - 4.5 / 3.6 / 11.7

Adult Keto - 5.9 / 8.0 / 0.6

Still wonder why babies, and adults on a baby food diet, eat every Three hours and get fat?

Human Nature.

Why you got fatter even reading this.

Are you drinking electrolytes? if not you should!

Drinking Gatorade Zero. Started on the Moviprep this evening, which also contains electrolytes. Felt considerably lightheaded today, working a very long day without eating.

Went to the Doc yesterday (new Doc)... Huge high praise for a starch free diet (Keto).

The main theme in their opinion was all the risks with so much processed (chemistry) in processed starch/carb/sugar.

Colonoscopy yesterday. 90% reduction in polyps since the last one. Been on reduced carbs since a little before the last one. Not a scientific study, but encouragement to stay the course, nonetheless.

When I started eating low carb my doctor was ambivalent about the idea. After a year and half of maintaining weight loss, HDL going from 37 to 57, triglycerides decreasing from 121 to 58 (yes eating healthy fat meat will do that), BP dropping to 120/80, and A1C going from 5.8 to 5.2 (still working on lowering LDL it has remained flat) my doctor is changing his viewpoint on this type of diet/lifestyle.

I saw him two weeks ago and he spoke to me about insulin resistance and the fact there is so much corn syrup and other sweeteners used in foods today that it is really causing widespread health issues. He also said your young body can handle the high influx of sugar but you will wear these systems down and have problems later in life. He also talked to me about muscle mass and exercise. I already knew the things he said, but it was good to hear it from an MD in person.

I have eaten only one meal a day quite often, but 24 hours is the longest fast I have done. I need to lose 10 more pounds to meet the weight requirement for an upcoming trip. I will likely keep my current diet and interment fast.

Also there is more to sustained weight loss than calories in and calories out. I never count calories, I am never hungry, so it is hard to say what my calorie intake is. Eating fat and protein is satiating, so it is easy to eat less. Eating high carb diets keeps me hungry all day and the processed/high sugar items are just not good for my body. Insulin affects people differently, people's metabolism's are different and what works for me may not work for you.

One thing is certain for me, I can live the rest of my life without a slice of bread, a candy bar, or ice cream to continue feeling the way I do right now.

I said about 20 pages back that I was through with posting on this thread, but here I am again...

Anyway, get off the couch, quit eating crap, find what works for you and your older body will thank you for it.

Hi pal,

Them store-bought electrolytes are not only low potency, but they are also very expensive and in my estimation worthless.

I posted my recipe for a really great electrolyte drink you can make at home for pennies and will end the dizziness!

If you would like I can post it again for you?

Cheers

Had the colonoscopy today. This was a follow-up from the one I had in January, where they were in me for half an hour, removing a very large polyp that was ascertained to be precancerous. This time they only removed 3 small ones.

Ate a huge meal, immediately afterwards, consisting of a giant cucumber, lettuce and tomato salad with yogurt dressing, plus the best chicken kabob I've ever had, a roasted tomato and a very small amount of rice and Indian bread, washed down with iced cranberry juice. God! that was good. smile

Here you go pal.

I lost 65 lbs. in 3 months, I got dizzy, then I started drinking this I never got dizzy again while doing 72, 96, and 120-hour fasts.

It is called Snake Juice:

2 Liters or 8.5 cups of Natural Spring Water

1 Heaping Tsp of No Salt - Which is Potassium Chloride - Which you can buy anywhere

1 Heaping Tsp of Red Mill Baking Soda - You can use any baking soda, but Red Mill is Higher Quality

1/2 Tsp High-Quality Himalayan Salt

1/2 Tsp of Epsom Salt

ConcenTrace Trace Minerals - about 40 Drops (optional)

Strangle The Fork my friend!
