I wonder why this cartridge never really caught on? It seems really quite solid to me. I recall reading about one professional hunter/writer who favored the .350 Remington in a carbine for African dangerous game... buffalo, hippo, lions and such. I can't recall his name... anyway...
Calibers larger than 30 simply don't sell in sufficient numbers in the US for manufacturers to support them.
