At the USPS, you have to answer their questions. Hazards, liquid, etc., but you certainly don't have to tell them it's a gun.


I don't believe an unloaded long gun is liquid,hazardous or perishable.....


I just hand them the box at the USPS counter, they know what it is and as long as it is boxed right no issues


How do they know it is a gun at the USPS counter? They cannot legally ask if it is a gun and the box cannot have any marking to indicate it is a gun.


Betting my local post office see's a ton of guns shipped thru their facility. Very long box insured between 1 to 2k and sometimes more, yeah I think they know.
