Me? 270 WIN. I just can't stand it. It's a relatively benign bias.....

Besides, it helps to prop up my equally irrational love of the 30-06. I do all my hunting on the east side of the Mississippi, so I'll probably never need to launch one at anything at any distance where a 270 WIN would really matter.

Altho I differ on the 270........I can understand your feelings 'CAUSE' (not coz) I have similar UNbased and IRrational feelings about MORE than 1 cartridge that many absolutely love.

I probably will not own a 257 Roberts 'cause' people say "the Bob"--YUK ! I don't think Mr. Roberts would appreciate the sentiment.

There are other older cartridges that some are nostalgic about (I understand that) but have been surpassed and left in the dust.

There are ALSO a few newer cartridges I HAVE NO intentions of even trying....because shooting a few grains less powder and a little less recoil means NOTHING to me.

Irrational - probably, but 'just cause'.
