Is there a BDC or dot type scope that is a good match for the HMR? I know it is a bit redundant as around 300 would still be the maximum range at least for me.
That Ballistic Plex reticle found in Burris Fullfield II scopes works perfectly with the 17VMax loads, within 1" of the hashmarks out to 250 yards. I've used it on prairie dogs out to 250 yards, myself, and made first-round hits. While not too heavy on power, it's very good for hunting purposes, not so great for target shooting.
