My son has the 1980 10/22 carbine I purchased as a gift to my Dad. Has a Lyman perma-center in 4x setting in Weaver rings.
Very accurate .22 & not @ all picky as to ammunition it's being fed. My son says anything the fine cross hair's covers ether dies of gets bounced.
