I carry.....daily.

When I first went to work as a rural mail carrier in 1984, the Kentucky firearms laws stated that a mal carrier in his line of duty, could go armed. Of course, that was an archaic law, but one still on the books. I took advantage of it, and carried a pistol in my privately owned vehicle when I was on the route. I shot at groundhogs and coyotes, and carried a 357 during deer season, just in case. The Post Office finally came down on guns on postal property several years later, and I quit carrying for the most part. About 2 years before I retired, I was transferred out of my small rural office to one in a much bigger city. We were often out after dark, and had to drive thru the Black part of town to get there. I went back to keeping one in my truck, and figured I was close enough to retirement that I didn't give a crap if I got caught.
