My dad was always a 7 Mauser guy, but bought a 700 7-08 MR probably in 91 or 92. I don't think he ever shot it before I took it over. Was always my go to deer rifle. Got on the Creedmoor wagon a few years ago, but was moving some guns around in the safe the other day and got out the 7-08. I had forgot how light and slim it is. Gloss bluing, wood stock, and 3- 9x Vari-X II. Classic.
