Savage 11 DOA Hunter package with a 3-9x40 Bushnell scope and mounts from CDNN, $349.99 after the $100 rebate.

Howa 1500 Lightening from Whittaker's, $330.

Ruger American Rifle - Predator from lots of places, usually between $350 and $400.

I have the Howa 1500 and the RAR-Predator and don't like the stocks on either one, so I sunk more $$ into them for replacement stocks. I was able to buy a Weatherby Vanguard2 Griptonite stock for the Howa 1500 for under $100 and then spent about $200 for a Boyds Heritage style laminated stock for the RAR-P.

Please note that I'm really picky about stock fit, so a stock that I strongly dislike, like the Hogue style that typically comes on the Howa 1500s, may not be objectionable to you.

EDIT: I was thinking about buying a Winchester XPR in 6.5 Creedmoor, but after handling one, I decided that the money could be better spent elsewhere.
