Thanks Guy, I rattled up two of the bucks and caught the other four deer slipping around, once I bit the Sharps Rifle bait I was hooked hard, nothing like hunting with them, the blackpowder BOOM and plumes of smoke only add to the excitement of the hunt, not to mention hearing the very audible KAWHUMPPP at 200 yards of a 4 to 500+ grain chunk of lead leaving the bore at pedestrian speeds of 1300 to 1400 fps.

Taking my Backpowder powered 50-90 Sharps to Africa and smacking a giant Cape Eland and a big old blue/black Sable bull with 750 gr bullets I cast myself put a damn good cap on a fine year in the game woods, fields and thickets.
