I can't see any advantage to a .257" bore cartridge built on the Creedmoor format, as there aren't any long, VLD, .257" bullets that could take advantage of the shorter Creedmoor case in a short action.

The better short action .257" bore cartridge is, in my mind, the proven performer 25 Souper.



I wouldn’t mind seeing the .25 Creedmoor if for no other reason than the new .257 VLD type bullets that would surely accompany it.
