Not in WI. WI has an archery deer season and license and registration for archery hunters (bowhunters) But it has a crossbow season for that other sort of weapon.

My homemade longbow has none of that. None of the trad guys that are bowhunters (that buy the same license and hunt the same season as compound guys) have that stuff.
