I spent hours in September rebarreling a 1949 Win M70 to 280AI with a Bartlein fluted barrel and McMillan stock and VX-6HD scope, bipod, cheek rest, etc.
I was getting groups at 400 yards.

But when I shot the antelope in October, I could have used a shotgun. It was at 100 yards, walking toward me, and I was shooting freehand.
