I have all three. I have harvested deer with the 270 Wby and the 7mm, I have not harvested anything with the .264 as of yet. I would say that the 3 deer than were taken with the 270 Wby, farthest being approximately 430 yards and the closest being 60 yards. All 3 dropped in their tracks, like a lightening rod from the sky. Of the 4 or 5 deer taken with the 7mm Mag, with federal factory ammo, all of them dropped, I think one took a step after being hit. Now this same 7 mag was bought by my Dad in the late 1960's and he used it for 35 something years and to my recollection he never had to track one, while I was with him.

My uncle was a 264 man while I was growing up, and he took tons of deer with it.

I think it is take your pick, bullet selection and shot placement. These 3 calibers are awesome.
