Better for hunting what? I am partial to the 7RM just because of very limited use of the other two. I had a run of one shot kills of 28 head of game with the 7RM or 32 if you omit two finisher shots. I doubt I will ever have a run like that again just because I don't hunt as much as I used too. Shooting the 160-175 grain loads I have to pace myself at the bench especially in T-Shirt weather. With 120 grain Barnes the recoil is not bad at all. My Dakota 7RM on it's second barrel and third stock re-finish will be the last rifle I will ever sell if it comes down to that.

If I had started with either the 264 W or 270 Weatherby I would probably feel the same way about them. They are all good.
