I went with a Zeiss 3-9x42 with RZ6 reticle, I had laying around. This sob feels nice and light, and well balanced. I'm eager to shoot it in the "moa all day long" challenge here tomorrow. I'm not expecting stellar results, as the barrel is not even broke in yet and I don't have a load worked up, but I'll post results. Good bad or ugly. It's a great reference and accuracy will only improve after those first groups are shot....

"Load work up"

"Barrel break in"

Must be a Tikka virgin. Bore sight and fire 3 factory rounds. Dollar to a donut they're under an inch.

Ha ha.. I get a kick out of you guys. Dollar for donuts, damn near any rifle is sub moa for 3 shots. For fu cks sake, I took my BSA model E to the range a couple days ago for the first time. Bought it a few months ago and just now got around to refinishing it and glass bedding it and finally shooting it. Just threw something together and also ran the load my sporterized m1917 likes and it's under moa for 3 shots. That is not hard to do, not even for an old pos M1917... :
