I have a 6.5-06 on a Ruger long action. 24" E.R.Shaw stainless 1/8 twist. . Cost about $400 installed. I have several Shaw barrels & all give exceptional accuracy. My 6.5 -06 with the Barnes 120gr TSX at 3277fps takes elk cleanly & gives complete penetration. I have shot this load on my own range to 400yds. Performs perfectly.
