When I shot pins in college I used my 5" M29-2 with 240 gr SWC's (I still have some of those bullets) loaded down from full throttle 44 Mag loads. Worked very well.
Have a S&W 629 but haven't shot it in yrs also have a 500 S&W thats never been shot. I'll bring some form of 1911 more than likely.
